Leonardo da Vinci once said "Be a mirror, absorb everything around you and still remain the same." This idea is at the heart of this truly magical piece of art created by Chi Huynh.
An inverted crystalline blue topaz is suspended above a pair of petite emeralds and rubies, in such a way that the gem absorbs and reflects the color of each. This creates the illusion the gem is green or red depending on how and from what angle you observe the necklace. The blue topaz remains the same and yet is completely transformed just as da Vinci suggests.
